Recent W7 Updates Fail to Install

In the 8-months that I have had this laptop I never had any difficulties with Windows updates, but after several attempts the following seven recent 'important' W7 (x64) updates will not install successfully. The two error codes reported are also shown below. Any ideas?

I have had this problem several times, although not in all updates. I don´t know what is the cause.

To solve the problem, I have used two procedures:

The one described in: http://www.sevenforums.com/windows-updates-activation/97775-update-error-80070643-a.html.

Restoring an image. I now usually create an image after a successful update, to be sure it doesn´t contain the problem.
