I live at a reasonably high part of the citry, out towards the countryside, far from the heat of the city and inustry and last new years eve, it snowed while at a party a few miles from the city and so we travelled back, went through the city center which didn't have much snow, however when we got up to our house, the snow was so bad, we ended up pushing the car part way up the hill and as you can imagine the passengers who were old enough and strong enough to help push the car were a little drunk (including myself).....

    Don't drink :D

So, what you're saying is: the winner can't celebrate with booze ? ?;)
Good. I hardly ever win anyway.
I'll drink in the second place then. And third place. And last. Ach, any place will do.:D
Have a drink on my birthday everybody! :)

    slam:cool:

(To return to topic: If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen; so, either drink and don't be a sissy. Or don't. (And don't be a sissy either :D :p )

A big big bowl of Hot Green (jalapeno) Chile! Or don't drink!

There was a late night cafe near the "party" street we went to, the only problem was - most of the customers were eating sheep's heads - eyeballs and all - the green chile usually never stayed long enough to help!

Cut the drinking down immensely!! :)

There are now pills OTC you can take before drinking, name excapes me! B - complex helps, milk thistle too, BEFORE - milk thistle can be taken after, after awhile the drinking too oblivion is just not worth the lost time and headaches!!

    PLEASE NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE!!

    Agree fully.
Though I think you just want to be polite; imho you could skip the "please" anytime!
I'm a profesional driver and sad to say I've seen way too much havoc, pain, injury and deaths already on the streets, related to drunk drivers... :'(
    it's a bloody crime, I say!

    SO:

    [MOVE]
    ### DON'T DRINK (ALCOHOL) AND DRIVE! ###
    [/MOVE]

And with that I mean zero-tolerance: Not a drip! No excuses here. Period.

    regards,
    slam

P.S. Return to topic: The one thing that brings a little relief -concerning hangovers- to me is drinking WATER (lots of it!) in advance ánd the moment you wake up with a head-ache... no garantee whatsoever though...:doubt:

I used to watch a relative put a raw egg in tomato juice with worchestershire (sp?)sauce then drink it right down, don't know if it worked - I always gagged just imagining it going down! :)

    Right on, Slammer!!

The best cure is a swim in the cold Pacific Ocean - pretend u are a Polar Bear. :D A better cure is not to drink in excess if u must drink.

An even better cure is to pray to the porcelain god until you have contributed everything including your toenails. I can assure you the thought of wanting to drink again for many will wane....at least it did for me 4 centuries ago

    Grow very fat first.
The more your body weighs the more alcohol it can handle. It's like computers: if processor speed cannot increase, use more processors.
