Real Photos as Avatars

i've no way of doing it. i have got a camera, but i can't find the driver CD to install it. and, i did have a scan of my driving licence, but i lost that, i did put it up in the other thread for a day or so. i'm not bothered seeing what people look like anyway. if we all saw what each other looked like, we might not ever come back here although, your pictures are very good

 

abhi_mittal, I appreciate your take on this but i kind of like my avatar. i don't know if I could part with it. besides my avatar probably looks better than my real picture

Avatars are much more fun..unless you are posting your CV or looking for a date. Many of the threads here in the 10 F center around those Avatar and that is one way how people get to know each other..the real personal that is..and in that case a picture is not really 'worth a thousand words' when it is a personal photo.

You found that out with your other Avatar..it let you express yourself and your thought..a personal photo can not do that.

There is board software that allows members to place a Photo in their Proflie and many do.

 

ROFL! Hehe! ........and lipstick ..........a handbag ............a nice wig .........high heels ...........etc ............etc.

Great idea.... but to tell you I really look similar to the picture I post here, especially if I have a new hair cut and taken shower everyday. But I'm shy I didn't like to be popular like Bill Gates, Just a simple guy, but "advanced" inside... oohh my gosh we are many.
