    Hi Rita

One thing you can also do when installing/uninstalling say Online Armor that solves the problem Bubba mentioned. Since you are dealing with a trusted program, just disable Regdefend, and then uninstall. That way the appropriate keys will be dealt with properly. Something I do, when I install something new, IF it is a TRUSTED program, and thats a big if, I disable Regdefend, just to avoid pop up madness. Once I did make the mistake of just exiting from the sys tray. Ouch.

Doing this will indeed solve some problems, but again only with trusted programs.

Let me add a clarification to the last post I made about "disabling" regdefend.

Many programs are disabled, shutdown, when you right click the systray Icon and select exit. That is not true with Refdefend. All you accomplish by that is shutting down the graphic interface, not the driver which continues protection.

To disable Regdefend, you can either right click the sys tray icon, and then select Regdefend>disable or just click on the systray icon and open the GUI and under the ruleset click disable. This way the Graphical interface tells the driver to stop protection.

BUT....... You have to be sure to re enable it. This won't happen on reboot.

ALSO.... I again reiterate, only do this if you trust the program involved.
