    I hope to have time soon. There is a gospel song that takes me back to my Georgia Girl roots that I'm dying to play (if the video fits).

    Waiting on the video!!! But, can you compare with another ransomware software?

    For the following:

    * Compatibilites with other security software
    * Conflicts, if any!
    * Cleaning abilites.
    * Detection rates
    * Interfaces

    For example, AppCheck? Just for fun! Or Kaspersky anti-ransomware?

    You already well know some of us are on the very edge of our seats with anticipation.

    Your videos are so well done in detail and really get right straight to the heart of matters where concerns those battles.

    Of course the music is pretty good too :rolleyes:

    Thanks. There are a few more bugs and tweaks we need to work out with the UI but within a week or so it should be ready for wider release.

    Apologize. Been so extremely tied up with work post summer that a long stretch is developed (until now) so hope to soon focus back on what I like best, getting the best out the best against baddies like ransomware.

    With that said has anyone tested to see how formidable the latest Ransom0ff tampers with the newest intruder of foul disposition, the BadRabbit ransomware?

    I have been (compatibility- rather than malware-) testing v5.2017.292.5480 RC1 for some time and it's looking good!

    Dave, any update on release date? I know you are cautious :cautious:, and meticulous ... :thumb:

    @paulderdash Same here and it looks good. I had to make a couple of changes in my setup though.

    @HeiDef Going to be curious to see new GUI. Please don't change the tray icon. It's not only unique but eye catching.

    With the UI overhaul we did change the tray icon just to keep it inline with everything else. So hopefully the new icon will be eye catching as well.

    In the past, I was advised this was OK, but maybe Dave can confirm.

    Check out CSs video.
    RO did more, than the name would suggest.

    What about usability? I mean, not blocking legitimate apps?

    Test it and you would see it's not a problem

    BTW, will you also consider to do a sponsored test, like this one about Carbon Black Defense? I wonder if RO protects against the ransomware mentioned in this test.

    +1 Have been running it on one of my systems for quite a while now and it has been working very well since HiDef fixed an issue I found. Since then...no issues. Am now just waiting to test the new version. :thumb::thumb::)

    With the new HIPS-Lite feature, it depends on your settings. You can make it alert you to everything or make it alert you to nothing. Based on how you use your system, you'll have to find the settings that work best for you somewhere in between.

    Unlikely. Sponsored events have their place and purpose but I think real world results and feedback by security enthusiasts speak much louder.
