RanSim Ransomware Simulator test and discussion thread

Version 2.1.0.4-Got it
Now to seal it within Secure Folders before Defender sniffs it out.
I ran an earlier version with MS Defender temporarily turned off to gauge WiseVector Stop-X
Both are ACTIVE in tandem. Was curious to see if it would go after the various methods and did so with full success.

Saves one the hassle of filling in the form.

 

In this day and age of much more cleverly advanced ransomware it seems reasonable that it would also help ordinary home users (maybe small businesses too) if a few more Tech Companies would follow suit with finely thought out simulators that could be used to safely but adequately test local security solutions so many users license for themselves & households to keep those programs sharp and reliable.
