RA Server not downloading updates

RA Server not downloading updates - RESOLVED

Hi

I have a ESET RA Server that is not downloading updates.

It is configured the same way as the other servers I have that are working Ok.

In the log there are the following errors:
[2008-07-02 07:56:46.968] V1 [486849000000] [000006e8] <UPDATER_ERROR> Error: Update failed, code: 4, additional code: 4612
[2008-07-02 08:56:56.234] V1 [486849000000] [000006e8] <UPDATER_ERROR> Error: Update failed, code: 4, additional code: 4612
[2008-07-02 09:54:44.937] V1 [486849000000] [000006e8] <UPDATER_ERROR> Error: Update failed, code: 4, additional code: 4612

I don't know what this means, and I have not received a reply from ESet's support.

Does anyone know what I should be checking to find out what is causing the errors?

Found the problem

I hadn't configured the DNS forwarding on the server

Once I did that the server was able to find the ESet update servers on the internet.

The RA Server started downloading updates straight away

The clients are now updating Ok.
