Question...

I do not know if this is a trouble with a virus or trojan, but I think it might be. I run Win XP Home on a Fujitsu lifebook laptop.

As of today, I have been having trouble opening up certain websites, mostly bill paying websites.

I got this one from my bank, Fleet, when I tried to log in:
500: Server Error [20-0002]
This server has encountered an internal error which prevents it from fulfilling your request. The most likely cause is a misconfiguration. Please ask the administrator to look for messages in the server's error log.

And this one from my Express card account:
HTTP/1.1 404 Object Not Found

I use Mozilla Firefox, but I got the same result when I tried to use my AOL browser and IE browser.

I ran AdWare and SpyBot with no results, but what was weird in AdAware was that I got several prompts to insert a disk into drive E:, a few times during the checking of "CSLIB" and another during the scanning of "typelib." I've never gotten the prompt before, E: is my DVD/CD drive.

Any suggestions would be helpful

Hi,

Very interesting. Those could be normal errors, however it is possible you have a PROXY server listed in your configuration. This could be very bad if a trojan placed a proxy in your IE configuration - your data would all be going though some other machine on its way to its destination, enabling the proxy machine to capture your data.
