I changed my dynamic hdd to a basic hdd without losing data by following these two tutorials...(Maxtor 30gig ide)

    w.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=102958&high light=dynamic+disk
    thelazyadmin.com/blogs/thelazyadmin/archive/2007/0 1/17/Converting-Dynamic-Disks-Back-to-Basic-Disks. aspx

Then I connected the hdd to my desktop and notebook using a usb-ide connector, but...

The drive appears in Windows Explorer and Disk Manager, but I can't access the drives' contents...

In Disk Manager, it appears but it doesn't have an NTSC/FAT classification. If I try a disk error scan, nothing happens. And chkdsk won't work in Dos mode.(Although the chkdsk error message does say that it's an NTSC drive)

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. :)
