question about anti trojan software

    What is the best free anti-trojan software. Any and all post welcomed.

    Hi notageek,

    At this specific moment, IMHO there's no free anti-trojan available providing the protection needed. ANTS3 Lite might come as close as it gets - alas, not released yet.

    "you get what you pay for" is a suitable adagium here; full protection can only be obtained using a payware anti-trojan - preferably the best: 1) TDS 2) TrojanHunter - in that particular order.

    In case of non-packaged backdoors: within the top-3.
    In case of packagers eg signature strength: under investigation. No comment as for now.

    thank you forum admin. I'll look into tds or trojan hunter.

    I was just asking cuz wilders have a few free trojan scanners and I was gonna download one. :D

    My pleasure ;). You might give the trial version(s) a try. As for the downloads on our site, one thing's for sure: even an unreliable freeware solution beats no solution at all.

    On a side note: "paul" will do - "forum admin" is merely a title ;)
