Any movement yet of them getting it to work properly with NVIDIA GPUs (mobile & desktop)?

It's the only reason why I haven't bothered to try it yet.

Although, right now I have a laptop that has an Intel HD Graphics 530 & NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060.

Always look forward to posts from the Qubes Team. Even though the wait is 3 - 6 months the research, and results, are gold.

Fantastic work and great idea - this was the main attack vulnerability for U2F browser authentication (MiTB), and this partition very substantially weakens that.

Joanna Rutkowska is leaving the Qubes OS project  She will become the Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Security Officer for the Golem Project.

As said, not much will change for Qubes, but still sad to hear. She really is awesome. Good luck to her on her new projects, I'm sure she'll make them better.

Qubes 4.0.1 and 3.2.1 have been released:

    4.0.1
    https://www.qubes-os.org/news/2019/01/09/qubes-401/

    3.2.1
    https://www.qubes-os.org/news/2018/11/12/qubes-321/

An up to date installation will be the same as these point releases, but new installations are much quicker because you don't have to update a lot. Also, because a newer Linux kernel is already included, it will be able to install on newer hardware where the old ISO could be unable to install without manually adding a newer kernel into the ISO.

A Fedora 29 Template VM has also been released:

    Cool :thumb:

So what's the status of that project to have various Qubes VMs running on their own hardware? Locally, or out there somewhere online. As I recall, just the core would need to run locally. And stuff could be connected using read-only linkages, for isolation.

    I guess you mean this?

I haven't seen any news about it, but they also say it is a long-term vision, so probably not happening soon.
