Just wanted to add an FYI to @JRViejo's previous post. qBittorrent Enhanced is not the same as qBittorrent. qBittorrent is an open source bittorrent client, and the code is maintained by a large community of 320+ contributors, whereas "qBittorrent enhanced" is a fork of qBittorrent, and the code is maintained by only 1 person. This is what the GitHub page says: The word enhanced comes from the changes made to the code. Listed changes are: But since the code is only maintained by 1 person, so there could be other changes under the hood. The Windows 7/8 and 32-bit support comes from the fact that they are still compiling the code under Qt5. Qt5 support ended in May 2023, unless you are a paying business customer, then you get support/bug fix till May 2025. Since it is no longer supported, so most developers have migrated to Qt6. Unfortunately, software complied in Qt6 only runs on Windows 10 and higher. This is what qBittorrent enhanced developer has to say about Windows 7/8 and 32-bit support: I am not saying that "qBittorrent enhanced" is a bad software, I just wanted everyone to know that it is a different software then the official qBittorrent.
Raza0007, thank you very much for the clarification! I'll leave my post as is, in case someone wants to test that particular software. If we get more interest, I'll split the thread into 2 separate ones. Thanks again.

A change in the 5.0.1 release noted as a bugfix is actually a 14 year old vulnerability: https://sharpsec.run/rce-vulnerability-in-qbittorrent/
The funny thing is that qbittorrent's devs were completely unaware of this vulnerability, and even while fixing it did not seem to realize its serious implication. They were also unable to come up with an adequate reason why the 14 year old commit that introduced this vulnerability was merged into the software in the first place. This is probably why they did not announce it when this security vulnerability was fixed. qBittorrent fixes flaw exposing users to MitM attacks for 14 years
