All can be drawn with straight lines.

    Hence the next two letters would be "N" o p q r s "T"

Every time I count I get a different figure.

Had to cheat and google to get the correct answer.

And even knowing how many are supposedly there I still can't see them all,Arrrggghhh!
    :'( :doubt: :( :ouch:

    Damn that's hard!!!

This time I counted 32. Is that close at all? I don't want to cheat so I just need to know if that is close.

    Puzzle: Only the '1',' +', '-', 'x', '/' and '=' keys on a scientific calculator
are working. How can a result of 75 be reached by pushing these
keys less than 18 times? Minimum is better. Give the key-stroke sequence also.

hey Tex ...U hv done it in 13 moves too!!!

If I hv not mistaken your FIRST solution needs only 13 strokes. [needs only 6 '=' in first series of '=' to come at 77]

    Gr8 job Tex. :thumb:

Anybody else with less moves o_O

    [I hv done it with 15 moves : 1 + = = = = = = x 1 1 - 1 = = ]

I think it should only take 6 '=' but on the calculator I did it on it stayed at 11for the first one (but it wasn't a scientific one)

Puzzle: Four men A,B,C and D want to cross a bridge. The bridge is of a width such that a maximum of 2 people may cross at a time.

'A' takes 10 minutes to cross
'B' takes 5 minutes to cross
'C' takes 2 minutes to cross and
'D' takes 1 minute to cross.

    conditions to follow:
If two people cross the bridge together, they must walk at the pace of the slower one. So if A and B cross together, they will take 10 minutes. Also, it is night. Each trip requires a flashlight. There is only one flashlight. The men are not allowed to toss the light over the river. They must pass it hand to hand.

How fast [in minutes] can you make them cross the bridge?

Puzzle: The wise teacher offered the three noisiest students a deal. He showed them that he had 2 RED hats and 3 BLUE hats.

    The deal worked like this:

The three students would close their eyes, and while their eyes were closed, the teacher would put a hat on each of their heads (and hide the other two hats).

Then, one at a time, the students would open their eyes, look at the other two students' heads, and try to guess which color hat was on their own head.

Any students that guessed correctly would have no homework to do the rest of the semester. But any student that guessed wrong would not only have to do their own homework, but also have to help on everyone else's homework.

The students drew numbers to see who would guess first. Then they closed their eyes and the wise teacher put a hat on each one's head.

Jimmy, who was to go first, opened his eyes, looked at the others' heads, and said he didn't really want to play. He couldn't tell for sure and he didn't want to guess in case he was wrong.

Next, Merry opened her eyes and looked at the others' heads. She also thought about the fact that Jimmy had said he couldn't tell. Then she said she didn't want to risk it either. She couldn't tell for sure.

Melissa was third. She just stood there with her eyes still closed tightly and a big grin on her face. "I know what color hat I have on," she said.

And she gave the right answer.

Your problem is to figure out what color hat Melissa had on and how she knew for sure.

    Remember: Melissa didn't even look!

I know the answer to this one
I've seen it before but it had a different story to it
(prisoners and black and white buttons) and I can tell you the answer
    can be difficult to understand.
clue : you really have to scrutinise what the others see.
