I purchased the program online and haven't downloaded the Trial version--I know, sounds strange :)

I received an e-mail requesting that I get a Code from the software to get the Serial Number so the product doesn't expire

Now, am I supposed to download the Trial version even though I purchased the software?

It would be nice if their e-mail gave instructions on how to proceed after the purchase--like where to get the download, or are they sending me a boxed version o_O

I sent an e-mail but no reply yet.

I don't have the Look 'n' Stop and can't get the serial number until I have the Code.

I need the software in order to get the code. So, how do I get the software? I purchased online and the e-mail doesn't help. Am I supposed to download the Trial version even though I purchased Look 'n' Stop?

    This is their e-mail:

I don't use this software but after reading your post i would asumme yes, u need to download the trial version and that is were your code will be. ;)

Hence, fill out the form inserting the code and u should be on your way to receiving your Licence number which u would then "enter into Register page of the Look 'n' Stop software"

What is truly bewildering to me is this in one of their e-mails:

    Product Name: Look \'n\' Stop
    Quantity: 1
    Total: $39.00
Order Date and Time: December 29, 2005, 3:04 PM EST (-5 hours GMT)
Delivery Time: 24 Hours (from the time shown above)
Currently, the status of your order is Authorized. What this means is:
    # Your order has been successfully processed
    ____________________________________________

Delivery Time: 24 Hours (from the time shown above) o_O o_O

    @JVM

I sympathize with you, I have to go through the same thing. LnS is a good FW, but the way it is to be activated/registered is very undesirable.

As JVM showed the form you have to fill out and etc, you of course have to do this on line before any of the ruleset are even in place and windows FW is off, so which means no protection until the ruleset are loaded and activated. It is very confusing.

They need to make the transition as smooth as possible for customers.

Thank you for the sympathy :thumb:

I downloaded the program and it is installed. I have some questions that I'll post in a new thread.
