I am currently running PSOL with DefenseWall and I have the the protection set maximum for all http sites but I am able to take screenshots, copy and paste despite having set the protection to the max.Is this because of any possible conflict with DW?

You will have lower your setting to High from Max on HTTP sites to be able to take screenshots after a reboot! And see if you are able to Copy and Paste with that setting also be sure to let us know!

The problem is exactly the opposite as I have already mentioned above, I have the protection set at max but I am still able to take screenshots and cut and paste:D

Sorry I miss read your post. Did you reboot since the change? And I'm not sure how DW works as I never tried it but other members might be able to give you advice!

DefenseWall had a bug in a previous version that resulted in system crashes when Prevx was installed. I reported this to Ilya and I believe it was fixed but we did not turn off the DefenseWall compatibility check for safety reasons so, with DefenseWall installed, you will indeed not have the screengrabber or clipboard grabber protection to prevent a possible crash.

Would PSOL's other protections like anti-keylogging, MIM protection be working?

Yes, man-in-the-middle, man-in-the-browser, anti-keylogging, and the other core components of SafeOnline are unaffected by the incompatibility.

The issue that they're referring to was the one I reported on June 11th, 2010. We still see users using outdated versions of DefenseWall so I'm hesitant to remove the check.
