when my wife goes to her school in order to get her lap top on line she apparently has to navigate thru IE7 to Internet Options/Connections/Lan Settings and have a check against use Proxy Server ( with address and port completed).

If she leaves this checked, when she comes home IE7 will not work with our wireless system until the LAN box is unchecked.

Although we always chose to use Firefox some programs still use IE to update ( antvir ?)

Is there anyway to avoid all this mouse clicking ? I'm thinking in terms of a short cut to turn the proxy on and off or a macro ?

    any ideas ?

As 30 Plus people have looked and not been able to provide an answer I thought it might be useful to provide the following

    http://www.proxychanger.com/

2 clicks enables the proxy and 2 clicks disables it.
