I need to access how SpywareGuard looks for the server--I am behind a firewall that I do not control but can redirect a program to a port.

    Hi popichak,

    Welcome at Wilders. :)
Not quite sure if this is what you mean, but updating SpywareGuard using port 80 should work fine.

    Regards,

    Pieter

    Pieter,

That's what I'm looking for--how do I get to the "options" page to change it to another port?

    Hi popichack,

I don't think you can do that in SpywareGuard.

You can use this method for now, until someone comes up with an answer.

To get the latest definitions, please download these files:

    http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareguard/def1.dtb
    http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareguard/def2.dtb
    http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareguard/dlbdata1.dtb
    http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareguard/dlbdata2.dtb

and replace the ones in your SpywareGuard folder.

    Regards,

    Pieter
