Can ESET be configured to limit access to a file/resource to one application?

I want a specific file to only be accessed by one application. To be concrete, I want to limit my browser's password file to be accessed by my browser only.

    Hello,

That type of operation is generally handled via file system permissions, not antimalware software, so I would have to say the answer is no.

If I can think of a way to do this using the software, I will let you know, though.

    Regards,

Might be a feature request, but still.

Windows does not really have options for this other than Windows bootup only and Microsoft-service-deamons only.

I just imagined that ESET might keep an eye on the file, and prevent any applications other than mybrowser.exe from accessing it.
