There seems to be a big mis-understanding going on here. :)

He is not the new owner in any way. That is the mis-understanding.

The original poster said "We have bought ProSecurity." Use of the word "we" led me to believe that guest was one of the new owners. If this is NOT the case, then is guest an imposter? Or WHAT?

He just forgot to Quote the text he pasted from the web site. Read his previous posts and you can guess it.

Accident or not, this entire thread is a sham, perpetrated on behalf of vaporware.

I still have hopes that PS/RTD will re-appear, but this kind of sham is NOT going to make them look anything but shifty and unreliable, in my opinion. :thumbd:

Let's let this rest until we find out what is going on.

That will teach me to go sending someone a private message with personal information in it, because they said they took over the project. Thats really great

This is old information, well-known here already.

Other than the cursory message on that website, the developer(s) of PS/RTD have remained incommunicado for several months. I remain hopeful that someone will resurface to provide support to those hapless folks who paid for a license that won't activate.

    In the meantime...:thumbd: :thumbd: :thumbd:

Product name is something sacred. A change may be only appropriate in case old one was bad, but this is not the case.

I have looked at the site the guy is developing, and its a canned, almost CMS site, with the "new name" all over it, and the dude appears to have his domain all registered for a year now, so its prettu much safe to say hes not keeping the old name.

How is a name "bad"? Do you mean a copyright infringement? Or maybe it was just a new corporate makeover?

Google bought Youtube... do you see them calling it "Real-time viewing" ... Nope, they realise the concept of "if it aint broken... dont fix it" When you take a winning thing, you dont go "Great that works really well, lets change it"

Cingular was also formed from an earlier merger between other mobile companies (I think one of them was Cellular one?). If MS and Yahoo becomes one, then I am sure the stock prices are going to climb. :D

How about just giving version ProSecurity 1.43 away as freeware and dawn a new improved model?
