When I started the first scan I had a similar issue.
The files scanned # stayed at 0.
I cancelled the scan and started a new scan.
The files scanned display worked fine than.

    Hi The Tester,

My problem ain't with the number of files scan, it is with the progress bar that doesn't show any progress or anything for that matter...

    Hi,

Does the change of name in the application means that peter.ewido and others from ewido won't give any support anymore in this part of the forumso_O

    Best regards,

peter.ewido has already placed several posts regarding AVG-AS questions.

About the progress bar; mine shows fine. How about you - did the progress bar not show until the end of the scan?

That sounds very strange. Can you please tell me if you have Service Packs installed on your win xp, and in which language your Win XP is?

    Regards,

    Vinzenz

    pwillener,
You start scanning your computer at 12:00:00 till 17:00:00 and then go home ? AVG Anti-Spyware is your first scanner, right ?

No, not really yet. I never had this bug and I don't understand it at the moment. I just want to know what kind of system you're using so that we can maybe reproduce it here.

    Regards,
    Vinzenz

Wow! No answer from any support tech from AVG?!? If that's the kind of support we can expert from AVG when reporting a bug, well...

    Dear Atomas31,

I am so sorry for not answering your question. We have tried to reproduce it but without success. We keep on searching for a solution, but we have currently no idea why the progressbar is not working for you :/

I am so sorry for the incovinience and for such a late and poor answer.

    BR,

    Vinzenz

    Hi Vinzenz,

Happy to see that you are not dead! ;-)

I hope you can find a solution soon or, at least, keep me inform that you are still looking into this issue.

    Best regards,
    Atomas31
