program running trying to display a message

    NOD32 AV4
    4.2.71.2 AV Database 7003
    Windows 7 Pro x64 users are getting a strange prompt.
    Interactive Services detection
    A device or program has requested attention. Device or application: c:\windows\system32\ntdll.dll. Message title: ESET NOD32 Antivirus.

    This program occurs when a program is not fuilly compatible with Windows.

    What exact steps are causing the error message to be displayed? Is SP1 installed? Have the users tried restarting their computers to see if the message pops up again?

    If SP1 is installed and restarting isn't resolving the issue, upgrading to version 5 may help. If you'd rather keep the users on 4.2.71.2, uninstall the program and reinstall version 4.2.71.2.
