ProcessGuard and Windows Defender together?

    If Windows Defender's Real-time Protection option is on and Process Guard's
    protection also, I wonder whether they both are protecting the same processes. In other words: doesn't that have a slowing effect on the pc's speed and is it not inefficient to use both ?

    I can't vouch for whether or not it has a slowing effect as my computer is relatively fast, but I can say that they work fine together (as long as proper permission is given). Defender's and ProcessGuard's protection may have some overlap, but they cover mostly different areas (i.e. Defender's protection covers Internet Explorer registry entries).
