Just d/l the full version of pg and it hogs my cpu when i go online with aol, on average it will be at around 50% to 60%!
When i am offline all is ok however.

    here is what i use:

    nod32
    ewido security suite
    outpost 2.5
    pg

can anyone tell mw what is going on or if i need to configure something. when i was using the free version i did not have this problem at all, so is the full version more inefficient - i am aware it does more of course.

    THANKS,

    Simon.

Hi simcc, How long did you leave PG in learning Mode? You should enable the four general tabs, run your security and internet programs and then reboot.

ProcessGuard should have no effect what-so-ever on your connection speed.

Also if you are running Ewido guard try disabling that.

yeah, rebooted and cpu usage is at the normal 3-6% usage level again so all is well. Im glad because there was no way id disable ewido or anything else, i bought pg to add more security but not at the expense of other programs.

    Thanks for your help,

    Simon.
