I use to have problems with Searching.Net hijacking my PCs when an incorrect URL was typed in. The address bar simple showed the incorrect URL with the Searching.Net webpage. I used Spybot Search & Destroy v1.2 and AdAware 6 (Build 181) to remove this. However, I've recently been stuck with the problem again and both SD & AdAware have give the system a clean bill of health. I was recommended to this site by a friend who also mentioned the HijackThis utility. Below is my HijackThis log after cleaning:

    Hi Derek,

Thanks for the reply. I've only managed to find output.txt which I suspect is the file you require.

BTW, I've just installed Spybot 1.3 & it too hasn't given the system a clean bill of health.

    Cheers
