Problem

Hi, i just joined this forum.
I got 2 problems


1) I tried to get a HijackThis log but when i downloaded it, i clicked open and this message came up "a .DLL file, MSVBVM60.DLL, wasn't found"



2)I am having problem with an pup-up that's been irritading me. I tried removing it with ad-aware but no luck. The pop up is xadsq.offeroptimizer..

 

Hi Venko, and welcome to Wilders.

To be able to run Hijackthis you need to install the Visual Basic Runtime Libraries: vbrun60sp5 <--direct download.

Also, make sure you have the most recent version of Ad-Aware6 and Spybot Search&Destroy, and have brought them both up-to-date before scanning with them.

Then follow ALL the instructions, and each step in this link, carefully:
