Hi, I recently bought Smart Security 5 and yesterday tried installing it, but it rolled back when the installation got to "installing drivers" stage. I was previosly using MSE but that was already uninstalled successfully and I even used the Microsoft OneCare cleaner. I tried to go to safe mode and run ESETUninstaller.exe to remove any potential ESET product and then reinstall Smart Security 5 again and still failed. I checked the "Base Filtering Engine" under Services and it's there working properly too. I don't know what else I can do so please help~ the link below is the log file I got during installation. Hopefully someone will have a clue what's gone wrong. Many thanks

In this case, deleting the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\MaxNumFilters should help.

    I located HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\
but there was no MaxNumFilters there

Check the value once again. It's there by default and is set to 8.
