problem with nod32/windows security centre

Hello
I am running NOD32 for the first time, and i have just completed the extra settings as advised by Blackspear.
I am now getting a message from Windows security centre (in the Malware Proctection section) advising me "NOD32 av system 2.70 reports that it might be out of date..."
It does not allow me to click Update button, nor does it offer a fix

I know I have the current 2.7 version! Does anyone know how can I get Windows Security to recognise this, so I stop getting this message?!
I am using WINDOWS VISTA

 

it could need a signature update, so run the updater.

Yep, did that immediately, but Nod confirms it is up to date with current version!?

 

what version of virus signature does it report? is it the same as mine?

 

If you have signature update 2138 or newer , your NOD32 is up-to-date but Windows corrupted.This is well-known situation and a solution has been given by Aryeh Goretsky,ESET Moderator . Read here and here

It seems to have rectified itself overnight!

Nod32 updated with version 2141 (20070324) of virus signature, and is recognised by Windows Security Centre
