Problem with msn messenger live :S

Hey guys, I just reformatted my laptop;
downloaded the latest Live Messenger and purchased ESET Smart Security.

But now, when I try to logg-on I always get an error. It always says that my firewall might be blocking it... However, the error code changes from time to time, but when ever I do my "troubleshooting" there is something wrong with my ip?

The reasons why I think it is ESET:SS is because before I reformatted and had other firewalls/AV's, I didn't have that problem :S

What I have done so far with ESet;

Gone to options => Web Access, HTTP, Web-Browsers and unticked MSN Messenger. Then in my firwall settings msn messenger is on ALLOW all the way..

Help much appreciated!
I feel all lonely and lost without my msn :S (lol)

try to set ess firewall in interactive mode and then allow msn to connect when it asks you
