Problem with MSN 9 (Sign-In Menu Keeps Popping Up)

    OS: Windows XP
    IC: MSN 9.0 Dial-Up (56K)

    Whenever I SIGN OUT of MSN 9...the SIGN IN window keeps popping up @ the desktop screen. I try closing it out but it keeps popping back up. It's preventing me from using other programs properly as the MSN sign-in window is causing an interference. Could it be that a program is trying to connect to the internet to run auto update? Or is this a settings issue? If anyone knows how to fix this problem, please let me know. Thanks in advance!
