Problem with Firefox protection...

I recently installed Firefox (version 3.5.5) on my Windows XP (Home Edition with SP3) machine. Over the last couple of days SpywareBlaster (4.2) doesn't automatically load the Firefox protection when I start my computer. I have to do this manually. I uninstalled & reinstalled SpywareBlaster yesterday but this doesn't solve the problem. I've read some of the other posts about renaming my Firefox profile but it's kind of Would someone here be able to explain to me exactly what I need to do & where the profile folder is located? I looked in the Mozilla Firefox folder and can't find it.

I found the answer after reading another post. If anyone else has this problem I fixed it by unchecking the Clear history when Firefox closes box in the Options menu & then restarting the computer. Apparently you aren't supposed to check that box.
