Using Windows 7 x64 Used drive snapshot with the windows 7 recovery disk, loaded the usb 3 drivers and all was well until my motherboard failed...
Replaces the board with a Gigabyte GA-970A-D53P
Cannot get the VIA usb 3 drivers to load...in the recovery environment..
Tried a windows 10 boot stick but would not ..Access the usb 3 ports...
    Anybody have any suggestions ?

    Thanks !

Are you sure of your mainboard designation... I see lots about the GA-970A-DS3P but very little about the -D53P. If you really have a -DS3P, THIS is the VIA driver you're supposed to be using for W07 USB3.

Correct it is an S not a 5 That is the driver U have... Won't load from add drivers in the boot disk works from windows installation.

I think it has something to do with the "helper*.dll" can't be loaded...Just my guess...

    Thanks
