    Hello,

here is the PrivaZer Team developing PrivaZer, a free PC cleaner and Privacy tool.

Today, we received an official invitation to join Computerguard.de, a PC security board in German :
and start an official support forum on computerguard.de
    http://www.computerguard.de/forum.php

FYI, Computerguard.de is the Official German Eset Support Board.

We intend to join. Should we ?

If you guys join would that be for only German support or English as well? There are several companies that use more than one support forums (like Eset here) but I think maintaining such would be tedious. Honestly I think it would be better to have your own forum in your site (look how your user base improved in a year).

    I see, no problem.

If you have many German speaking users, then it might be a good idea to join, if not then it depends on if the forum is German language only, or if you can write/respond in English too. If English is allowed then it's like any other forum I guess, so why not :doubt: :)

I agree with Subhrobhandari--you should consider adding a forum to your web site. It allows newbies to have sources "closer to home". No matter where a forum, that supports PrivaZer, is hosted one of your staff would still have to help out as a moderator. I guess it depends on what best serves your business model. No matter where it's hosted "language" will always be a concern/issue. From what I've observed with your "donators" they represent many countries/languages. Have you ever broken down the "total" donator list to see what percentage are from English speaking countries, German Speaking, etc.? I'm sure that most of us just want to make sure we have good access to "PrivaZer" discussions--at least I do. THANK YOU for all your hard work! :D

If you want to promote your product get on every forum you can, as they say, no such thing as bad publicity.

If you want it - why not. Would be good for german speaking people who aren't good in english.

But be aware: computerguard.de (esp. the admin) is known in germany for many sock puppets and other games.
