@The_PrivaZer_Team This is a excellent welcome addition. I verify using DirectorySnoop for NTFS and can attest the wipes adequate. INDEX ATTRIBUTES is a PLUS! Unknown glitch in all the beauty of everything else this program does so superb is that for low memory system as mine, 4GB on Windows 8.1 when ticking MEMORY it reaches 11% then burns my CPU to 97% RED when otherwise all else runs in the GREEN for me. Mind you this is no big deal whatsoever but I am curious as to why it SOARS to max out the CPU on MEMORY feature if there's an answer. As mentioned I couldn't care less on the memory clean feature but found it astonishing when it buzzed my system then froze up requiring a hard reset. This PrivaZer is great and the MFT clean up especially is awesome!
VLC player On 'Media' menu there is an item 'open recent media' for which there appears to be no preference tool to stop creation. There is an option to clear the list but of course this necessitates going thru the process before closing VLC. I would be much easier to have this wiped by Privazer at run-time. Is this list reachable and cleanable by Privazer or embedded out of reach? Sorry Guys I looked on a VLC forum and there was no reply to this question, however, I have found the answer tools/preferences/interface settings..........the last but one tick box
Privazer doesn't clear the VLC recently played media list here too. Not a big deal but worth a mention.
Hello here, Windows Defender Smartscreen reports a false positive on our latest release of PrivaZer. If you want to help us remove this warning, submit a feedback to Microsoft here : https://feedback.smartscreen.micros...16&URL=https://privazer.com/PrivaZer_free.exe Thanks,
Found out that usrclass.dat can contain shellbags and other sensitive information. Does privazer take care of it? Couldn't find it...
Hello, PrivaZer team. Good work with PrivaZer. I am a donor, and think it is good software. I have two things. One, can you make it so that PrivaZer does not leave the system tray when I close it? Right now, I have to minimize the program to make sure it stays in the system tray when I am not using it. Not close it with the "X" symbol. Two, for some reason, I have to reset the Windows appearance options every time I run PrivaZer. I like it when my windows fade in and out smoothly. But after I install PrivaZer, that goes away. Can you please fix this? Some people like how Windows looks when performance settings are set to "best appearance." That is all. Other than these two things, PrivaZer is great. Please respond here so I know you got my feedback, and IF you will follow up on it. Thank you!
Follow-up: Am tagging PrivaZer here to ensure they respond to my post, since it's been a few days. @The_PrivaZer_Team (Thank you very much!)
Follow-up # 2: It seems that the issue I mentioned above about Windows changing its window behavior happens only after I open PrivaZer upon the first run. I uninstalled PrivaZer (partly because of this problem; it was getting to be annoying), then reinstalled it later (recently). I noticed that when I rebooted (after reinstallation), the window behavior was normal (e.g., fading in/out windows), but after I opened PrivaZer, the problematic behavior returned (with the window animations being gone completely). Seems like PrivaZer is messing with Windows' behavior somehow (after it runs the first time). @The_PrivaZer_Team
Thanks! Really appreciate your time and support. Hope you can fix this with the next release. @The_PrivaZer_Team
