Yes, Krusty, I got the 4.0.1 downloaded and installed directly via the Donor's version user interface. It remained activated also.
Oh, OK. I was gifted the Donor version recently (thanks @The_PrivaZer_Team) and I went to download the update it said it had expired. I manually downloaded the free version and upgraded over the top. It still shows as the Donor version though. Thanks @plat1098 !
When I use the Windows Disk Cleanup, https://img.overpic.net/thumbs/r/j/w/xrjwj2i8k2bkykjapv_s.png there is an Icon on Taskbar: https://img.overpic.net/thumbs/6/z/j/x6zj7qhv87eb66wkk2fw_s.png When PrivaZer uses the Windows Disk Cleanup, there is No Icon: https://img.overpic.net/thumbs/g/8/3/xg83qcn36kayn8yqnkj_s.png
Hello @layman, we are still investigating on the issue with the "code cache". Was the web browser running while PrivaZer was cleaning the "code cache" ?
No. But there were over 200,000 files in that cache. Individually, the files are small, and it appears Chrome never does any sort of cleanup on the cache. It amounted to about 5 gigs on my wife's laptop. An old Windows 7 machine that used to be my daily driver was similarly stuffed. PrivaZer seemed to be cruising right along on both machines while clearing the cache. It wasn't comparatively slow like cleaning Chrome cookies.
@ArchiveX, Right-click on the icon. Select "Properties" and check if the path is the good one compared with the one when you run disk cleanup manually.
Is it possible to exclude Registry KEYS/VALUES etc. so that PrivaZer will Not scan them in the next time?
Both Icons have the same Path: %windir%\system32\cleanmgr.exe See the one with no Icon: https://img.overpic.net/thumbs/7/3/h/x73hfs74m499dtsrbxzk_s.png https://img.overpic.net/thumbs/b/8/l/xb8lg9hsny6p7h4phyt9_s.jpg
Hello @ArchiveX, in the next release there will be the possibility to include custom registry keys/values to get them securely removed as @liba requested it. We will add the possibility to exclude, I hope in the next release too. For your icon, maybe you can try to select manually the right icon in the list. Maybe the system will remember your choice.

https://img.overpic.net/thumbs/2/n/s/x2nsy44kvsv6gu1g55yy_s.jpg After scanning the Registry, I right-clicked on a Trace. It would be great to have a right-click option to Exclude it during the Next scan. Please, do consider it... Importing Registry entries one-by-one is such a trouble when the user needs to import quite a few Registry entries.
Can you tell me if there is a way to suppress the dialog when right clicking and selecting "Delete without a trace" I found this topic after a search and it seems that it was planned to add this feature back in 2014. I'm on the Donors version and have it installed (not portable).
