That's good to know. Thank you very much!

By the way, I guess it's time to update the name of the thread considering we are now on version 1.8.1 or you can use something generic like "The Privazer Thread" ;)

Hi, i think you need to start charging V soon, so it doesn't reach the Dead Point !

Then i would try & get as many reviews as possible for it, in Magazines & Online. Don't go for lots of reviews before though, otherwise that will defeat your $ potential ;)

    Great software, I uninstalled Ccleaner..:D
It gave a minor problem with Lotus Notes after cleaning, meaning that LN freezed without opening, I had to reboot to start it again.
But no problem, I need just to check some settings on Privazer to avoid it.

    OK ;)

There comes a time though, when you NEED to decide where the cutoff point is, & move forward as a Sound business ! From what i've observed over the years, donations hardly ever last, or are Anywhere near the true costs. I'm only offering the advice i have, as i'd like to see you stay around for a Long time :)

    I hope you will :thumb:

    Hello CloneRanger,

so far, we receive $600 per month from ours donors.
That's a good start but we can not live with that.

See total donations here (in real-time) :

    thanks for your advice,
we have not yet reached a decision.

Well trendmicro marks it as dangerous and removes it automatically and does not like privazer at all. Even after restoring it, it still flags it dangerous and removes it.

Privazer team need to address this issue with trendmicro.

Great. I managed to get my trendmicro titanium antivrus plus to accept and ignore it. I have not scanned my pc with it yet and hopefully it will not flag it again.

By the way you guys should address the issue with advance setting where no matter how many times I try removing the check mark from "allow computer hibernation" to disable it, privazer will automatically enable it and check it.

So please fix this bug to allow anyone choosing to disable the hibernation and remain disabled.

My OP is win 7 64bit ultimate.

Here is for trendmicro people how to make trendmicro ignore it. When the popup of dangerous product comes up click on its info and choose to allow it to run and make it safe. Then go to the main win of trendmcro and go to security report then detailed log and in there you see the 2 apps thats been removed. Try and click each and use restore. Then close. Do a reboot and hopefully this will fix the issue.

    Hello Taleblou,

Disabling the hibernation has no issue here on our PCs.
Could you please open a console window and type
"powercfg -h off" to check for errors ?

    Keep us informed.

How does keeping of some cookies work?
I added a few sites in the list of cookies to keep, but after each cleaning they are gone.
I think it's my mistake when adding the cookies, but how should I do it then?

For example, if I want to preserve the cookies of Wilders, should I write
    just wilderssecurity or something else?

    Thanks

    you should only write "wilderssecurity"

    Re: PrivaZer 1.7.1

Hi, here again on cookies deletion.

If I select Manual deletion, how to have Privazer just remembering the cookies I want to keep and those only?
Currently, if I am not mistaken, it seems that:
    1. I select some cookies to keep and others to remove from the list provided by Privazer.
    2. I exit the window without scanning/cleaning (->BACK)
    3. I get back to cookies window...then Privazer looks by its own the cookies currently stored and keeps some of those that actually I removed before (step 1).

In Ccleaner, for example, the list of cookies to keep is frozen...what changes is the list of cookies to be deleted (which reflects the cookies stored at that time)

    Thanks.

    Hello Dogbite,

    sorry for delay.

1.PrivaZer only remembers the list of cookies you want to preserve
The list of cookies to remove, you can see, is the result of a quick scan
of cookies present on your PC

    2. In next release, we will store your cookies settings even if you do not perform a scan and click "Back" instead.
    That's a good suggestion.

    Thank you Dogbite

What happens when cleaning a portable version of a browser?

For example, if I install Opera portable on a custom folder, would Privazer detect its traces or some adjustment needs to be done?

    Thanks again.

    @The_PrivaZer_Team

Any chance of adding a language choice to PrivaZar - as in shell bags cleaner - as it seems to default to the user defined language for non-unicode programs, which may or may not be desired choice for all applications.

    Thanks

    Re: PrivaZer 1.7.1

Thanks for the update. Unfortunately, the language issue still exists when creating a portable version.

On first run of the application, it gives the option to select the language, however, when the portable version is generated, it reverts to the user specified unicode local, with apparently no way to override.

    Thanks.
