@zach, @ArchiveX, issues fixed in v3.0.26 just realeased : http://privazer.com/download.php Many thanks, we do appreciate your feedbacks... @EASTER, I will have a look into this...
PrivaZer is cleaning too much in Chrome. It keeps resetting my extensions. Please tell me how to stop this. https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/scriptsafe-for-chrome.392310/#post-2705858
Apparently, none! I unchecked Chrome in Internet Browsing and HTTPS Everywhere was still reset, so I guess it is a cookie being removed by PrivaZer. Step to reproduce: Open Chrome Install HTTPS Everywhere extension Navigate to a site with third party content, for example https://decentraleyes.org/configure-https-everywhere/ Untick all check-boxes within the "Stable rules" section Close Chrome Run PrivaZer Revisit https://decentraleyes.org/configure-https-everywhere/ Check HTTPS Everywhere
Nope! Even unticking Cookies in the pre-scan list and HTTPS Everywhere still gets reset. No problems with CCleaner. @The_PrivaZer_Team ?
Hello @Krusty, please check the new version of PrivaZer just released ( v3.0.28 ) and keep us posted. The issue should be fixed now.
Awesome! Thanks @The_PrivaZer_Team for a speedy resolution. Downloaded and installed but I'll run it later to check. Thanks again.
Does Privazer delete the contents of the 'hidden thumbnails cache'? There's a discussion here... https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/wiping-files-retrospectively.397033/#post-2709844
Recently, I've noticed that after I cleaned my computer with Privazer, I need to re-install (complete installation) of "Click&Clean" for Chrome. And it happens only(!) I clean my computer/s with Privazer. What Privazer's setting is responsible for it?
Hello @jwcca, yes, PrivaZer cleans hidden thumbnails cache : @zmechys, please odwnload the new PrivaZer v3.0.28 with improved Chrome cleanup. That should fix your issue.
i cannot disable check for updates or delete backups older than one month. I uncheck, OK to close and when opened again they are checked again . Portable version 3.0.28 on win 7 64 bit
@david banner, you have to save your settings in a PrivaZer.ini file to get them remembered. Then, let PrivaZer use this PrivaZer.ini file at next startup of your portable version (first screen when started). @EASTER, thanks
