    Alright. I'd also like to point out despite it fixing over 5K registry keys, my computer is still running fine, even after restarting :thumb:

    Hello,
    Please let me know if it is happening only with me.
    After upgrade to 2.3.2 (as Donor since 1.?), I run Privazer (Windows 7 - 64 bits) a few seconds before turn off my computer yesterday.
    Well, today I had a not so good surprise when turned on my computer.
    The Documents Directory was vanished ... my first discover.
    After a few minutes of PANIC, I noticed that Documents Directory was under Downloads Directory.
    I restored the Documents Directory to right position (under Users) and fortunately, everything was fine ... except that all my empty directories are gone.
    Well, you can say: what´s the matter with empty directories erased ? Not a big problem, but I had some Directory structures prepared for new files ... and I lost all that.
    So, the question: Is it only with me ? Or there is some mysterious with Privazer 2.3.X ...
    Regards.

    Hello Ablize,

    never seen that kind of issue.
    PrivaZer does not delete empty folders, except in C:\program files\
    when an uninstaller leaves an empty folder.

    Hello Ablize,
    I was backing up my C-drive by doing a Norton Ghost, when I got a mail, that I had an update of Privazer 2.3.1 to 2.3.2! But I finished my backup (ghost) and then I downloaded & installed PrivaZer 2.3.2! I run PrivaZer 2.3.2 and my C-drive was not working properly. So I decided to reload my C-drive with my backup (ghost) and now my computer works fine again! So I have still PrivaZer 2.3.1 and is reluctant to upgrade again! (I have also Windows 7 Pro SP1 64-bit). So 2.3.1 seems to be OK, but not 2.3.2!

    Re: PrivaZer Discussion Thread (v.2.3.1 vs 2.3.2)

    Hello again!Now, I remember what was wrong with PrivaZer 2.3.2 for me! I wanted to pay visits to my banks and checking my funds! Both bank sites were impossible to read! I tried for a while to see, if the subpages were OK, but unfortunately: NO! As it was important for me to read the bank sites properly, I decided to reload my backup (Norton Ghost) of my C-drive. With PrivaZer 2.3.1 restored again, I could properly visit my bank sites again! Puh! I am glad that I have the routine to backup my C-drive 1-3 times/week!

    Not sure that it is caused by PrivaZer v2.3.2
    I would suggest you to use it again to test it once more.
    What is your web browser ?

    Re: PrivaZer Discussion Thread (v.2.3.2 problematic?)

    Hello again , I have since long made some tweaks in my computer by moving some parts of my C-drive to other drives by using eg. symbolic links, in order to keep my C-drive limited! The important change made is the move of the directory Temporary Internetfiles from C:\ to J:\Temporary Internetfiles, where J:\ is a RAMDISK! Of course, PrivaZer does not know my tweaks made! Updates up to including PrivaZer 2.3.1 have been OK (except for the error in 2.3.0), but I am still reluctant to upgrade to v.2.3.2! It is impossible for PrivaZer to know the structure of all computers using PrivaZer!

    Hello,
    PrivaZer will follow the symbolic link and clean your J:\Temporary Internet Files
    even if J: is a RAMDRIVE !

    Privazer Team,

    Why don't you offer a 'little update' each time you have a new version instead of reinstalling with a new installation of Privazer o_O??

    Sorry for that.
    Maybe it will be an option for "donors" version

    Re: PrivaZer Discussion Thread (v.2.3.2)

    Hello again! I am very sorry, that I have prematurely banned PrivaZer 2.3.2 in some previous posts! Last night, I made a new trial to update to v.2.3.2, and it was a real success!! I run it, and I got no problems to properly access my bank sites and other sites, as before! So PrivaZer here we go!!(My default webbrowser is Slimbrowser 7.00.053 based upon IE10 Trident)

    Re: PrivaZer Discussion Thread ( minor bug in ini-file)

    Hello all, MINOR BUG IN INI-FILE!! I'm using PrivaZer 2.3.2, but there is a minor bug in the ini-file! Regarding Pagefile.sys the default setting is: At next PC shutdown only;, but I always tick the option: At every PC shutdown;. Unfortunately my customized setting will not be saved until next time, when the default setting is there again! So, the personal ini-file should be supplemented with this option, as well!

    Re: PrivaZer Discussion Thread (Cleaning of ROOT-section)

    Hi! When cleaning I often get errors, that the Root-section cannot be cleared, cause explorer.exe or other files are in use. Therefore, I started my computer in SAFE mode and run PrivaZer from there. But then PrivaZer stopped already at step 4: Index.dat! I wonder now, if PrivaZer might be running at Boot-time?! As running PrivaZer takes long time, this option should only be used in rare cases!

    Re: PrivaZer Discussion Thread (PrivaZer misses a few files)

    Hi, using PrivaZer I made a Scan Deeply of C:\(systemdrive) & of J:\(Ramdisk) and as usual Privazer really detected/deleted a lot!! After this I ran CCleaner and it found 3 items that PrivaZer has missed: J:\Temporary Internet Files\Low\MSIMGSIZ.dat (48 kB) and J:\Temporary Internet Files\Low\AntiPhishing\ *.dat (2 files amounting to total 296 kB). Of course CCleaner deleted those! So after running PrivaZer I usually also run CCleaner to make C:\ & J:\ completely clean except for three empty folders, that I want to keep on J:\: Temporary Internet Files, Temp & WasteBin

    I've come across a bug in the latest version -- v2.3.2 (23 Sept 2013) -- but I don't know if this is happening to anyone else. I am using Win7 Ultimate x64:

    When deleting an image or a folder, my taskbar disappears as soon as Privazer closes, to get it back I need to hit [Alt]+[Tab].

    Hello to all,

    we are pleased to announce the release of PrivaZer v2.4
    with a new right-click menu in Windows Explorer
    http://privazer.com/downloadupdate.php

    Change log
    - New right-click menu*
    . New design, new icon
    . No limit to number of selected files
    . Internet shortcuts deletion
    - Bug fixes
    - Improved UI
    - Improved German
    - Improved Russian

    @mlauzon
    Never heard of this type of issue. Keep us informed if it still occurs with the new v2.4

    @sweidre
    - MSIMGSIZ.dat is a file that is certainly recreated by the system or IE.
    - Not sure that it is good to remove the AntiPhishing directory if you want to avoid phishing sites... Your opinions ?

    @kopp
    Webcachev01.dat deletion will be added in PrivaZer for advanced users.
    PrivaZer is already able to scan Webcachev01.dat and remove portion of it which contains internet history and Internet cache.
    But please, post your question here :
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=352630

    @dogbite
    Thanks for the test.
    We are not able to reproduce the issue for users with no admin rights when cleaning Internet traces. Could you download the latest version and try again...

    Thanks to all !!!

    I have noticed that other cleaners always pick up more stuff. R-wipe, Ccleaner with emhancer, and even Sweepi. So I have all of them installed.

    Helloo_O ,
    I have many security softwares online eg. Malwarebytes AM, Emsisoft AM, SuperAntispyware Pro, ESET Smart Security etc. updating their signature databases approx. every 30 min! Especially Emsisoft places temporarily their own signatures and the signatures of BiteDefender (they are cooperating) in J:/temp and in J:/Temporary Internet Files. If I am connected to the Internet, when I am running PrivaZer, of course some of the security softwares will update their signature databases in the meantime when PrivaZer is running, as PrivaZer runs a pretty long time!

    Just now I made a test! I disconnected my connection(s) to Internet and ran PrivaZer! It ran normally, but note: When PrivaZer has finished, the directories J:$Recycle.bin, J:/temp and J:/Temporary Internet Files were all empty. So PrivZer seems to have cleaned them all!

    Re: PrivaZer Discussion Thread (PrivaZer misses a few files)

    thanks, tried ccenhancer and its an excellent addon for ccleaner, I have never seen so many hidden and different apps, it even found further rubbish from apps already installed.

    Gonna give Sweepi a try also, R-wipe failed for me many times + 30 days only so gave up on that one.

    I feel with ccleaner+ccenhacner addon and PrivaZer, you can't go wrong really, I also use kcleaner which has an automated hourly cleaner. If PrivaZer and Ccleaner had an automated hourly cleaner id be donating away ;)

    How do you manage all your programs do you run them automated ?
