    @ appzman

Hi, it's been a while since i 1st heard about shscrap, but i'm sure @ the time i read that these left traces of things we'd done. I tried to locate the original info, but couldn't ! Anyway there are other reasons for not having it. The following info is several years old, or more, but still "might" be of use.

    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/archive/index.php/t-53441.html

    From above http://www.pc-help.org/security/scrap.htm

If you're OK with tinkering with the Registry, you could try the tip in the direcly above link. Or just rename it. From my years of having it renamed, together with the above advice for doing so, it "should" be fine to do it.

Thanks CloneRanger for that info,I appreciate your time in digging out those links, I`m gonna be brave and just delete the shscrap.dll file! I have loads of macruim backup images so dont mind if my xp goes pearshaped!

I feel like one of those tree demonstation people hanging on to my old XP SP2 setups, I`m waiting for Mr Gates and the bulldozers to come and demolish my images! But i`m hanging in there to the end. :)

Used Privazer a couple of times but have been very careful as to what I'm deleting. So, after a scan is it safe to delete everything Privazer suggests?

    Hello,
    1. Do you use the portable version ?
    2. Does the path exist or not ?

It is installed in Program Files (x86). I started to install privazer from the standard account and saw that it was going to install in the user directory so I backed out. I then right clicked the install file and installed in Program Files. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't help.

I also experienced the error in using the context menu. Also installed Privazer the same way. There are also other errors when using Privazer in a Standard User Account and installing it in Program Files. I have experienced this:
    1. Privazer trying to erase free space. (Happened to me once)
    2. Error in saving .ini file. (Happened after cleaning using Privazer in admin mode when running in a standard user account and reboot, not sure on this one)

Nice! I'll try it later. BTW, any plans on creating a 64 bit build? I don't know if it would help improve the performance but CCleaner have a 64 bit build. ;)

How do I disable registry clean up? How safe is registry clean up with PrivaZer? Is it as safe as CCleaner or is it much deeper?

How to create an AutoHotkey Script to Automatically Clean 'Internet activities'

How to create an AutoHotkey Script to Automatically Clean 'Internet activities' with Privazer?

I came across this: How to Really Browse Without Leaving a Trace and wondered whether it would be possible to write an AutoHotkey Script for PrivaZer instead of CCleaner but it seems not so straight forward as with CCleaner.

    Just inserting
    Code:
    Run, C:\Program Files (x86)\PrivaZer\PrivaZer.exe /Auto
    won't do the job because:

    1) Privazer creates an UAC prompt
    2) Privazer starts automatically with 'in-depth scan' as start-up option
    3) Privazer seems not to start scanning and cleaning after UAC prompt is confirmed

I hope you guys have a solution for this as running PrivaZer automatically in the background after each browsing session would be a great added functionality.
