    Hello @takiabtom,

The problems with the scheduled cleanups will be fixed in the next release.
We are rewriting the entire code.

    Thanks guys,

It's always a great help to read nice things about the result of many years of work. :)
If some of you, guys, would like to share their experience with PrivaZer, they could do it on Trustpilot for instance, it could help us a lot to have new users. OK?

Many thanks team - top of the class !

Another technical querry from a non techie.... I frequently have files left in $Extend\$deleted which I cannot access to delete but the system eventually does so but of course not cleaned/overwritten. Is this something that Privazer could do?

Thank you @The_PrivaZer_Team for all your work. I'm very grateful, you even included RtBackup which I referred to!

    I'll be giving another donation.

    All the best.

While cleaning deep embedded areas of Windows and Browser files and traces, the ShellBags Cleaning plus in-depth $Master File Table wipe is a HUGE performance booster in itself. Fabulous team!!

Question for anyone in the know on it. @The_PrivaZer_Team

Is there a commandline by chance that ShellbagsAnalyzer has or can be added (as automation) for a batch/cmd file? If not it is absolutely no biggie, however if there is the intention on this end is to set it perhaps in Task Scheduler. Since this PC gets so much consistent useage i find myself clearing the ShellBags (manually) with that awesome & separate program (excessive times per day) and would be nifty to somehow set a command in a batch for it to run on it's own every so many minutes with Task Scheduler.

    Regards- EASTER

Thanks for your prompt reply @The_PrivaZer_Team and as i mentioned it's no biggie. bug or otherwise aside from it as a possible feature request. Obviously & certainly no rush but by the same token also happy to learn that it has a place in your roadmap down the pike one day.

Be they solid state circuit board computer drives OR the near legacy mechanical HDD's, files and the massive amounts of recorded logs etc pile up either way anyone looks at it.

Enough of that continuous collection dispersed in their respective positions be that per hour, daily, weekly or what have you, that storage space becomes occupied. In the metal HDD's case i find that PrivaZer keeps a good machine in a clean slate when used by dismissing accumulated and often than not, really unnecessary build ups of such 'windows copying's' as well as 'internet traces' that otherwise serve no practical useful purpose.

AS a long time user of PrivaZer with mostly sealed metal case (platter & spindle arm) i can confidently lay odds that it has without question preserved and indeed increased longevity by YEARS! beyond the manufacturer's stated lifespans.

In short, a well thought out and meticulously carefully crafted software improves such vital hardware as a disk drive for one, in ways rarely ever given credit for. IMHO

    Privazer team

I use Jdownloader2 for downloading, could you please investigate the possibility/need to include it in the downloaders list.

As mentioned before I have files hanging around in $Extend\$Deleted, they go eventually on reboot but of course are not erased. No idea what the file were renamed from but better to be security minded. Privazer does not appear to clean and delete and when put on the "include" list they are still not wiped.
Are you able to tweek such that they can be picked up?

I have a newly installed win 11 pro. Smart app control (Win Defender) blocks WMIC.exe, driver, because it cant establish who published it. none of my other (win 10) PC's have this issue.
Im sure this will be a larger problem when more people start going with Win 11. Anyway, is there any way I can overcome this glitch.

    Hello @Rodehard

We are working on it as PrivaZer relies on wmic.exe for certain tasks so far.
Our goal is to avoid using it in the future.

Wmic can be installed as a a Windows feature.
Maybe you can try to install it again or/and run Sfc scannow.

The next release of PrivaZer will no longer use wmic.exe for Win10/11.
