Have noticed that the Download History in Firefox is not cleared by Privazer,
Is this something embedded in the program so not cleanable?
Is there a Firefox set-up option that I have overlooked? Screenshot (81).png

    Thanks Krusty
Just a thought however...... surely it would be better to have these things erased/cleaned securely by Privazer as opposed to just zapped by Firefox?

Sorry to appear a simpleton buy are you suggesting that it is best to leave Firefox unticked (i.e. no deletion on exit from Firefox) such that Privazer can then erase securely?

Yes Krusty I have the Privazer box ticked and Firefox set to permanent allways private browsing.
The issue is that even in private browsing the download icon on the menu bar has a record of any downloads performed i.e. not private
I believe Firefox kills the history on closing and thus Privazer cannot securely clean what has already been unsecurely zapped by Firefox
My question thus is do I need to use Firefox non private in order to retain history for Privazer to work on or is there some other tweek required to ensure cleanliness.

I would think that the list and other stuff being cleaned by Firefox on exit leaves it 'free' and thus able to be cleaned by Privazer's clearing of free space traces.

I wonder how you can clear USB History. I found it inside Windows history. But this option is also inside scan specific traces. And when trying to clear with this feature, it isn't implemented yet. So I'm curious what I should use.

    Hello @unknownguy,
sorry, still in our todo list, the USB history cleanup was disabled in PrivaZer as we have some further work to do and tests to perform.
I keep you posted when completed.

PrivaZer will remove the leftovers if any in your Firefox download history.
There are some changes in the new versions of Firefox on how it stores the download history,
the new release of PrivaZer v4.0.42 will take care on it.

Thanks @takiabtom for your precious feedback (as usual) :thumb:

Working like a well oiled machine on this end with absolutely no issues whatsoever. Keep up the good work.
