Both of you must be using a router, I'm not.

Routers have fw's that will stealth the leakiest fw's.;)

Last time I used PF, the firewall rules needed some mods. Which ports are showing as non-stealth?

You keep saying this but you won't post any detail.

What is failing? ICMP? Some ports not stealth - which ones? Etc.?

    send an email to privatefirewall

describe your problem, if you work with them to fix the bug you can use it again in the next update.

Don't use it if it is so important to you.

    are you ****ing retarded ?

  18. zip:

    - Are you sure you're looking at the results for PF and not for your router? If you have a router, that is what ShieldsUp will see.

    - There are legitimate reasons not to "stealth" ports. Computers that don't respond to ICMP requests can make network diagnostics difficult.

    - Not to infringe on mod territory, but if you want people to be more polite to you, you could start by using a less overtly insulting signature.

I can't see why the sheilds up test is important, your Router takes care of inbound stuff.

Whats more important is that PrivateFirewall fails PCFlankLeaktest.

After fully allowing the installation of the test, I guess. Or did it install without any warning from the process monitor?
