Sharing a HP 1220c on a Win2k machined networked and shared with a XP Pro PC. It prints the printer test page just fine. How ever when trying to print a Word document it only prints the lines and bullets of the document or it only prints out gibberish. Suggestions?

    Ehm...
    Work-around, maybe?
Install a pdf printer driver and print to pdf.
If that prints well, then I assume tha Word handles the print okay.
Next step would be to print the pdf to the networked printer.

    Hello,
Could be font problem. Are you using a special font? Some fonts are not printable. You want the true-type fonts.

Thank you both for the suggestions. Have not tried the PDF driver yet. Would really like to fix the current situation sense it had worked before. For the life of me do not know what has changed. May try uninstalling and reinstalling Word first.

    Follow up, problem solved.

Finally got around to playing with it some more. (Had to print out an updated resume and new cover letter) Nothing technical to the fix. Just did a copy and paste of contents from the original to a new Word doc. Printed just fine. Not sure how\why the original got corrupted  but all is well now. Thanks for the suggestions.
