It is very pleasant to see Prevx doing its job. If you let Prevx to remove the settings Privoxy won't work. Anyway, to be honest I would kick Privoxy out. If you want to have light and efficient ad blocker, snap Ad Muncher http://www.admuncher.com You can try it and you will be amazed how fast you can browse without all ad sh**s.

    Hi, nothing to worry about

    prox.gif

    127. etc is in your computer. Prevx is just letting you know a proxy is being used. As you know you are using Privoxy it's not a problem. If someone didn't know one was being used, by malware for example, then they would be glad Prevx alerted them to it.

    Don't worry :D

It is legitimate :) The warning is to alert you if you have a malicious proxy application installed - some malware infections will set up a proxy on your PC instead of try and change your DNS settings/etc. to redirect you to phishing websites automatically.

The warning from Prevx can be dismissed because you have manually configured a proxy, rather than having malware install one without your knowledge.
