    Reply Prevx + ESET Nod32 both missed 6 ROOTKITS.


    I sent you another PM yesterday. Had to be before you penned this. Plus I have not heard from you, so another "heads up" plus I included my info in there again. "You have mail." :D


    Done. Done Done. All of them done. If you've read all of my posts to date, you can see that I have AS WELL AS my WSA demo is due to expire in a day or 2. Then I am where NO Prevx subscriber should EVER be. I've no more time at all to wait for people do to their jobs or waste either. Lastly, the Trial is only a bandaid solution to just one of my problems.

    I came here in Good Faith and asked all the correct people for Help and resolutions and to please notify and/or contact the right people as this is a very urgent crisis/calamity. And a rather unusual one at that. And I'm still waiting......

    Some tips, questions and advice came from some awesome members here, as always. You guys rock! :)

    Why are they obviously and blatantly so reluctant to do their jobs and assist me through my problems with my PAID FOR subscription to their flawed software and it's glitches? Telling me to use a 14 day demo is equivalent to blowing me off. Certainly does NOT solve all the other problems laid out in detail in my above posts. I've read many dozens of similar problems in Archives and the "correct people" always assisted them - immediately. Always. Never told them to get a demo, made them wait or ignored the request/plea for their help.

    From the Archives I read, the average scenario was a member posted a problem, sometimes explained what they did to fix it themselves and came here stumped and 50% of the time asked "if any Prevx support or reps are here or reading this......" and many, like myself - desperate and distressed, directly asked for or wrote something like " I really need someone from Prevx or Prevx reps and moderators to help me or to get me help. Here's the part that really hurts. In virtually every one of those cases was a post that more or less said "I will look into that for you and get right back to you" or "I looked into that and you're all set, problem solved". Always got a reply like that either the same day or the next. BTW, none of them was ever as SEVERE as a massive malware infection combined with 2 technical problems with their license AND an Indifferent Non-responsive Customer Support dept. So, tell me please, what gives? o_O

    What is going on here? It is not a tedious and complex request, none of my problems are. They could all be done and resolved just by a Prevx/now-known-as-Webroot person tapping a few keys and BAM! Problems solved.

    Finally, I've been asking, pleading and pleading and asking Prevx Customer Support via every method available to me for a full refund of the 1 year left on my 2 year subscription renewal. Nothing, naturally. Now, it's clearly evident I need outside help in getting justice and my FULL Prevx (3.0 with) SafeOnline 1 year refund. IMHO, their behavior, non-acknowledgment, non-reply or response and total inaction is illegal, criminal, robbery and unethical. Legally, they have no reason at all to twiddle their thumbs and sit on my money. When one requests a refund they have a legal, moral and ethical duty and obligation to get on the ball, cut the check and zap it out. Prevx people and all others who may be able to, please help me with this refund. May even need some legal assistance if this full refund is not expedited immediately and received my me instantly ALONG with a full apology.

    I've exhausted myself to death and everything that's available to me except. Prevx and I quite obviously are not a "good fit". Always were before. What went wrong? I has a problem with their software? What? Plus, after this, who could trust them? It's been uninstalled since December - even went to the Prevx site and used their own recommended Uninstaller. I'm not letting them keep one penny. I deserve and kindly request an immediate and full refund of the remainder of my subscription which is 1 full year.

    Any and all who can assist me or support me, please do so. Either on the board here of by our Private Message system here. I'm seeing evidence of Prevx not only blowing me off, but possibly try to screw me out of some, part of or all of my 1 year refund. I am on an extremely modest budget and am not one who can afford such a thing.

    I'm not sure if you haven't received PMs from me, but I sent you a license key on Dec 29th via PM which should have resolved all of the problems which you were (and apparently still are) experiencing.

    Could you check to see if you've received it now? (I just sent it again as I haven't heard back)

    Thank you very much. I sent you a reply a couple of hours ago. I was so delighted and pleasantly surprised to hear from you. Thank gawd you sent it too as it made very clear what your first one said and which I also found pretty vague. To the point of completely misunderstanding you. I'm used to getting terse (and 99% of the time - incomplete) communication's as I have a mess of brothers, lots of other male relatives, and friends, neighbors, associates, etc. Never write but when they do, 1 line maximum. Verbal communication is often in the form of grunts, LOL. It certainly invites tons of frustration due to incomplete replies that often result in totally misunderstanding replies. Brevity is both good and bad. Constant brevity is not a good thing if one day you happen to be on the receiving end, but for you I very much realize and understand it's necessary and respect you immensely for what you do here for all of us. Also, the same good feelings and kudo's go to Triple Helix. And all the brilliant and always helpful members here. Again, thank you so much my "white knight". :)

    Dittos PrevxHelp. I, too, am still waiting to hear back. Would you also do the same for me please? Need an answer and some clarification at your earliest convenience.

    As I use security soft to prevent if and when it fails, then a clean offline image goes to work.Not going to play clean up,but thats just me.I feel bad for ya though you really got hammered with rootkits,where has your browser been.o_O
