There is a product called Evernote ( www.evernote.com ). It has a feature where it can clip content from a web page into an Evernote 'note' and save it in the Evernote client. One marks the content, right click, left click "ADD TO EVERNOTE 4.0" but this feature does not work with Prevx 3.0 installed. It gives an error that ..... Evernote services are not running, please start Evernote 4.0 ...... yet the Evernote client IS running. This method pastes dynamic content .. with graphics, fonts, colors, etc etc. Evernote is supposed to 'honor' regular mark, copy and paste as an alternative to 'web clipping' where you simply mark/copy .. open an Evernote 'note' and 'paste' into the blank note (the 'manual way') ... but it does not work with PREVX installed either. I am guessing it has something to do with PREVX service to the clipboard .. but of course, don't know. Uninstall Prevx and Evernote works perfectly. System is XP Home, SP3 and IE8. I have submitted a support ticket and awaiting a reponse, but thought I would post about it here. Hope I have posted in the right place. Any help, comments, suggestions appreciated in advance.
There's probably a conflict with Evernote client and Prevx SafeOnline! Can you please send a Prevx scan log as suggested in this post: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=1662381&postcount=1 TIA, TH
Sure thing. I am trying to figure out how to go about this. I submitted a support ticket already. Did not think to include a scan log. I am thinking they will request one when they reply. I will email them with the log .. and try to explain. Thank you for your reply. EDIT: I realized I could open the ticket .. and just now added the log to it. Thanks again.
You still can send one to report@prevxresearch.com then PrevxHelp can look at it also then he will reply here! TH
