Prep for donation

    I have 4, desktop machines I'd like to donate, and leave the OS functional, can this be done? If so what steps

    Ideally run dariks boot and nuke and then reinstall the os.
    The charity/recycler i worked for did it for you so i would ask who you are donating to whether they do this.

    When you say functional - do you mean retain the data they contain?
    I would probably do as trott3r said - completely wipe the disks and then reinstall.

    Hi Guys

    Just functional OS uninstall progs, & make sure i don't miss some folder containing data. thinking about dragging folders & shredding.
