    8% - 10% of ALL malware over the last 2 years, were Rootkits :eek: A conservative average of 30,000 new malware EVERY day = 10,950,000 in one year = around 1 Million new RK's each year ! Who said RK's were nothing to be concerned about :p

    Current RK's such as TDSS, still take advantage of ADS "alternate data streams" in NTFS. People have said for years that having ADS was nothing to be concerned about. No NTFS = :thumb:

    1 million new files. It's all the same rootkit families though.
