Has anyone used this before? I remember I tried their 2007 version a while back and it had a modern interface but was slow in compressing large amounts of files.

I'm using 2007 and I really like it. Gotta try this beta.

 

There is a Pro Version in Ver 2009 and they are offering existing user an 80% discount. What a great deal, the feature might not be useful but who know we might need it in future...

 

The pro version looks very interesting with virtual dvd.

I agree, and it's also got burning. However, I'm afraid they could be getting more *bloated*.

 

Hmmm, looks like bloat-ware to me. Used to love it but I just want an archiver that works well.

 

Runs fine here. You could try IZArc as an alternative.

 

Agreed. I used and like PA2007, but is has changed a lot since then. I recommed 7-zip. It is no-nonsense, and very effective. I use my own custome gui for it though.

PA is crap! It is bloated and contains tools that the vast majority of users will never use.
