It should get that... make sure "Windows Recent Folders" is checked.

For a moment I thought I might be having a tremendous amount of egg on my face, but I checked, and it is checked as well, I'm afraid.

I rebooted, and no change, I'm afraid.

Hmmm...what drive do you have Windows installed on? And, if you don't mind my asking, what is the full path to your documents and settings folder?

I should add that at this point MRU-Blaster should only clean the Recent folder of the profile you are logged in under.

    TIA.

    E:\Documents and Settings\Ton\Recent

E is the partiton I have WinXP installed on, and I'm logged in as 'Ton' as well.

Ah - alright, that'll be fixed in the next database update. (A silly oversight of mine.)

    Great! :D

Did you have MRU Blaster go for the C: drive exclusively?

On every other item in MRU-Blaster, it is either in the registry or all drives are searched.

Only on Windows XP will it only look for the Recent folder on the C drive.

That only goes to prove it can truly happen to the best of us! ;)

    Great program. 3 Suggestions

1-Allow entering of user defined MRUs.

2-Have a "submit a MRU" box in both the program and your page.

3-Allow the user to have more control over the process (optional) with a yes or no "erase this mru" or block of MRUs.

After d\l Macromedia Shockwave, alternatives are given for opting out of autoupgrade, privacy related issues, etc., but registry entries I ran across under

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Macromedia

indicate that this opt out procedure is ignored & data is collected.

    Is this a vaid assumption?

Does MRU Blaster deal with Macromedia related items?

Can Macromedia data collection be permanently disabled? If so, how?

Also, I second the vote for some kind of autoupdate, or at least the ability to check for version upgrades.

    BTW, great program!

    Thx

    - J - :D

If, when prompted, you selected to disable data collection through the opt-out procedure, it should be disabled. If you don't mind, could you create export the whole software\Macromedia registry key and PM it to me so I can take a look at it?

It deals with many - most relating to the commercial development products.

As far as I know, if you elected to opt-out it should be disabled.

Again, I'm working on it. ;) It'll probably be an external updater (but a button will be included on the main MRU-Blaster screen to run it).

    Thanks. :D

    Best regards,

I did "opt out", but certain values evoked my question.

Tried to PM you the reg key, but it's too big, & the items of concern are spread around. I didn't want to cut out something that was potentially meaningful.

I suppose I could send it in chunks.

    What do you suggest?

    Thanks!

I'll take a look at them, and with any luck they'll appear in the next database update.

    Best regards,

Apologies if this has been requested before. I would relay like the program MRU Blaster to be able to work with the opera browser 7 if possible please.

    Regards
    John.
