    Hi everyone,

Toshiba P3 laptop with XP Pro-Karmic Ubuntu-GNOME openSUSE. Windows uses Windows driver from Ralink. Karmic Ubuntu uses Linux driver from Ralink. I have not been able to install Ralink's Linux driver in open SUSE. The PCMCIA card is Airlink101 Model AWLC 6080 which has Ralink RT2860 chipset, 300 Mbps wireless N, and it's always plugged in and always has lights on. The laptop has a built-in wireless B Toshiba mini-PCI card that is disabled in Windows Device Manager. My problem is that wireless N connection is fine under both Windows and Ubuntu but there's no wireless connection at all in openSUSE.

Here's what shown in the terminal:

    linux-yhaa:/home/hoe # hwinfo --wlan

It appears that something prevents the Ralink RT2860STA.ko driver from being installed or working properly. I cannot use ndiswrapper because the Windows version of Ralink driver has no INF or SYS files.

I would very much appreciate your help and suggestions.
